God’s Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage

Beginning this fall, Holy Trinity will offer a new program for Marriage Enrichment.

Our first session will be using the Bible Study written by Mark and Melanie Hart entitled, Embracing God’s Plan for Marriage.

The Bible Study program will invite each couple to complete the Bible Study at home as a couple.  Then, they will return to have each of the sessions taught by different married couples in the parish, with room for discussion about how the couples connected Sacred Scripture with their own lives.  Each session will end with time for couples to pray together.

This new format for married couples to enter into Scripture Study is meant to be specifically for those couples who have never studied God’s Word together.  The simple, easy to use format of the study, published by Word Among Us will build up a familiarity with the Scriptures so that other studies may be completed in the future.

Sign-ups for the Bible Study for married couples will begin in August and sessions are scheduled to begin on 12 September 2012.

Attention Military Couples:  To accommodate married couples where one spouse is deployed or underway, we will offer the same Bible Study but with an e-mail based discussion, moderated by our pastor, Father Dan.  Because the books will need to be shipped overseas to our deployed military, sessions for the military based study will begin mid-November.

Registration for this course will be the weekend of 13-14 October, with the first session beginning 17 October.
