Bereavement Ministry

Holy Trinity Bereavement ministry strives to support those who are grieving and to help parishioners with end of life issues.

We help with the preparation of living wills and with pre-planning of funeral services.

At the time of death, we visit the family and guide the arrangement for the funeral service, including the selection of readings and hymns.

We continue our support of the grieving, by offering a Grief Support Group. This group is open to any parishioner who has experienced a death. We meet weekly and by sharing our sorrow, we are able to begin the process of healing. Prayer is an important part of this process.

For our widowed parishioners, we offer a time to socialize and to make new friends, during monthly Luncheons. We meet at a local restaurant and celebrate birthdays and have an opportunity to share important events in peoples lives. All Widows and Widowers are invited to attend.
